| The Academy of Diplomacy and Security has a very specific idea of what is looking for in student. It is not necessarily the typical profile of a student who has just a strong academic background – which is of course important to any institution including our own which is setting and demanding high standards. In particular the Academy is interested in young people who perceive themselves or are willing to perceive themselves in different types of contexts and environments and have a willingness to acquire those skills that will be needed for such a challenge. |

The intended role of the Academy is to prepare students in a wide variety of subjects in order to meet the challenges of their future international careers in such areas as the diplomatic service, security and intelligence, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and public administration. The principle aim of such a varied and challenging three year course is to give the student an in-depth understanding of international relations. Through extensive reading and discussions, the student will become aware of the challenging internal and external dynamics at work in Serbia itself, the region, Europe and the world at large. |
